NETSMARTZ

The NetSmartz program is an interactive, educational safety resource created by the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA). NetSmartz combines the newest technologies available and the most current information about every aspect of internet safety from chat rooms, to spam email to create high-impact, age-appropriate activities for youth in grades K-12--all for no cost! Parents, guardians, educators, and law enforcement have access to on-line and off-line resources for learning and teaching about the dangers children may face online through this National program at www.NetSmartz.org.

The State of Utah was at the forefront of bringing NetSmartz to at attention of the nation and this year Utah State Attorny General Mark Shurtleff helped to secure funding from the State of Utah. The NetSmartz program, so far, has served over 70,000 youth throughout the State.

NetSmartz has been implimented in over 3,000 Boys & Girls Clubs serving over 3.3 million youth nation-wide.
